Refer to rule #7 regarding
accompaniment. "Vocalists may not sing with a prerecorded tape or
any type of prerecorded electronic musical accompaniment. This includes
prerecorded accompaniment with an instrument. (For example, keyboards
with added rhythms or orchestrations.) Pantomime, lip sync, and karaoke
are also not allowed with prerecorded accompaniment of any kind.
Cassette tapes may be used for accompaniment for dance acts, baton, etc.
Pure "mime" is accepted." We will provide an
acoustic piano available for your use, although you will be responsible
for the accompanist. A sound system will also be provided.
